20010728 - Drawbridge in Amsterdam - June 28, 2001
If you walk along a canal, you can be sure you'll find a drawbridge
When it opens up, it's like a disaster. A massive peace of concreat moves from horizontal to vertical with it's all attachments; poles, rails, road and pavemet.
People are accustomed to this phenomen. They are waiting patiently to get back into business hopefully less than 10 minutes
The ship floats away...
...and the bridge starts to move back to it's resting position...
...slowly but surely...
...all the elements are back to business...
...and when this huge peace of concreat is back to the original position...
...life is the same az it was 10 minutes ago.
And the ship approaches the next bridge.
And the story starts all over again...
The bridge opens up...
...completely...
...let's the ship to float away...
...returns to it's original position...
...and sometimes opens up again 10 minutes later.
